Withdrawing Students

Our College Enrolment Terms and Conditions requires that parents give ten weeks’ notice in writing if they plan to withdraw a student from the College. This helps us to plan class sizes, future staff needs, and predict the number of places we can offer to new families.

If you are planning to withdraw a child at the end of the year, you will need to notify the College in writing at least ten weeks before the intended date of departure.  Late notice of withdrawals will result in a penalty of a term’s fees, as outlined in the College Enrolment Terms and Conditions.

Please email our Registrar Lee Giliam at enrolments@donvale.vic.edu.au if you intend to withdraw your child or wish to discuss any issue in relation to withdrawals. All such information is treated as confidential, and no details will be passed on without your confirmation.

September's edition of The Joseph Network:

Tim Argall's guest this month is Tim Meyers, and they get to talk about music, culture shock, mission, and hope.

Tim recalls a childhood in Papua New Guinea, where his father was a pilot with Mission Aviation Fellowship, filled with simple games and local friends. Somehow he survived the shock of moving to Australia at the age of 12 - where somebody gave him an old trumpet...

By his early 20s Tim was an accomplished session musician, earning enough to gain his commercial pilot's licence. But it was a conversation on a cruise ship which prompted a complete change of direction.

Three years studying theology in the US led to Tim becoming a (slightly unwilling) Baptist pastor in Queensland, followed by an even more reluctant move to Melbourne to take on the challenge of leading an international mission agency undergoing significant change.

Tim Meyers is now principal of Melbourne School of Theology.
