Sedgwick Centre

In Issue 13 of our Newsletter published on 4th September 2020, we announced that the school had taken possession of the newly refurbished Art Technology building, to be known as the Sedgwick Centre.

Staff have spent the past few weeks moving back in and setting up for students and classes to resume on Monday 12th October. Both internally and externally the building is looking fabulous.

The pictures give you an idea of the new look learning environment as it unfolds. Our vision for this project was always to provide an environment that supported contemporary learning, fostered creativity and integrated technology from years 7-12. 

Traditionally an annual Art Tech Showcase event is held; sadly COVIDsafe guidelines will not allow this or an opening ceremony in 2020. Once restrictions ease, we would be happy to show off this new facility to our school community.
