3CW has been using various modalities to express  learning across the curriculum. They have been finishing off  informative writing pieces on a famous person, presenting inventions - explaining the purpose socially and environmentally,  sharing descriptive narrative writing and persuasive writing; including advertisements using ethos, pathos, logos and The Seven Steps of Writing.

We have been working on Similes in grammar. We read the Indigenous story Colour Me by Ezekiel Kwaymullina which uses similes. We  then created our own simile poems, likening things in our life to others using beautiful descriptive words and phrases.
