C R A S H! The wrecking ball blasted into the building. Everything was flying everywhere, people were screaming, things were crashing and sirens were ringing. It was like little marshmallows falling off a cake. No one could escape. No one could defeat him, no one could see him. Something flying in the air crashed to the ground…

Sorry, I haven’t filled you in. There’s a bad guy who’s destroying the city. Black Eye has 8 hairy legs as long as a table and as sharp as needles. He has one big black eye on his forehead that is as big as an apple. His head is the shape of a horse and as big as a wrecking ball. His teeth are the size of your finger. He can shoot venom out of his teeth as far as five hundred metres.

So, pretty scary, right? But you haven’t met the real strong guy. He is called Lightning Bolt and he is a hero. Lightning Bolt is half bat and half tiger. He is as big as a polar bear and as strong as a rhinoceros. He can fly up to one thousand metres into the sky. His head is tougher than a brick wall. He can shoot lightning out of his hands. He can hold up to one thousand kilograms and weighs five hundred kilograms. He works alone and no one knows who he is.

Arthur

It’s gone. Turkey Dog’s powers have been sucked out. The Rainbow Brick is his only hope to save the world and to stop whoever has drained his powers. The Rainbow Brick is hidden on the island of death.  Brave warriors have attempted to steal it but have failed. Their souls haunt the island.

As the villain stands in the hallway his red beady eyes see something shiny. His silver wings reflect the moon light around the room. He uses his proboscis to suck the jewel closer to him, then he picks it up with his sticky hands and admires it.

Our hero’s pointy ears hear something. He runs to where the sound came from, his small mouth starts to water when he smells some beef. It’s about 500 metres away so he uses his strong wings to glide over. He splays his long sharp claws and picks up the beef.

My heart is racing at a million miles an hour! I slither along the cold floor of the dungeon, and suddenly I see a soft glowing light. As I approach it the light gets more and more unbearable to look at, but I know I have to keep going. I’ve worked too hard for it to all slip away from me.

The moment I grasp the crown I feel that I am finally satisfied. For the first time in my long, long life I’m satisfied! Well almost. Before I can become the king and be truly invincible I need to get out of here, prior to the guards getting my handsome head on a pole.

As quick as lightning I’m out of the dungeon and into the secret passage I came in from. I’ve been working up to this my whole desperate life, some may say I’m despicable, some may say I’m a rotten pig, but now I have the crown I will silence everyone! Everyone shall obey me.

My eyes suddenly catch those of the Spion, the king for now. Let’s just say me and him have some history together, and not the good kind.

It was horrible looking out of my palace window, looking down at the little girls screaming, “It’s the end of the solar system.”

The boys were weeping. Men and women were hurrying around trying to help build spaceships or calm down the children, especially the boys.

I felt pain too. As princess I had to choose somewhere safe for my people to live before the two years was up.

“Pidge, my lady, have you made your decision?”

“Yeah…” I said. I didn’t want to think about the sun exploding. “It’s safe and has almost the same living conditions as here, it’s perfect”

“Good my lady! I shall tell yo-“

“I shall tell my father myself!”

“Ok my lady.”

Smash!! the lightning bolt crushed the ceiling like a bomb going off. ”Gee, maybe this thing has a lot more power than I thought,” cackled Uyin. He leaped out of his throne and sent a shimmering bolt of lightning spearing towards Igor.

“Stop!!” Igor screamed as the bolt smashed the light above him. “You're out of control Uyin!”

“I know,” Uyin bellowed.

How am I going to stop him? Igor thought. He has way too much power with the lightning sword in hand! Igor only had one option. Retreat. He sprinted as fast as he could, not daring to even glance back to see the destruction Uyin was causing. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of running, he arrived at the village of Yaw. He went into the inn and booked a small room. It was damp and cold, but it was better than death. “How could Uyin do this? I thought he was a friend,” Igor sighed.

The next day in the Village of Yaw, Igor sat pondering about the events of the last day. Where could Uyin be and what damage could he have caused? Then suddenly it all clicked. “I must be the one to stop Uyin!!” he announced.

So he bravely gathered his things and set off to the market in search of things he could use in his perilous quest!

“HELP ME HELP ME I'M GOING TO FALL!” yelled Lila the flamingo. Dird flew so fast that no one could see him passing by! The flamingo tripped and started to fall. Dird was in high speed now. Lila was caught by Dird.

“Thank you Dird you saved my life!” said Lila, her heart still beating like crazy. Dird put her down and flew across the land.

While all of this was happening, someone was watching from high above. No one knew he was watching, but he was. He had a long beak, extended neck, strong legs, and a green body with a black head and sharp red eyes. It was Drow. He was half crow half dinosaur. He had a bad temper all the time too. He was only ever happy when it was all quiet and dark. But the town below him was the happiest town EVER!! Drow was alone and liked it that way, he didn’t need or want a friend. “What does it take to have a bit of peace and quiet around here!” growled Drow.

Bella was only three years old when the little porcelain doll turned up on her doorstep, with its beady eyes staring into her soul and its diamond necklace shimmering in the sunlight. Bella thought the porcelain doll was beautiful, but what she didn’t know was that this little doll would be the cause of all of her problems.

Bella was a small dark-haired girl. She came across as a bit of a clingy child, even her friends Lucy and Tom Williams made fun of her from time to time. Bella’s piercing green eyes were always a surprise to notice since almost her whole body was covered in grey. She wore a small woollen dress which her mother had knitted . It was so old now the wool had turned the colour of old porridge, and was starting to curl at the edges. Her shoes, once polished a shimmering black, had been in too many pools of mud and manure that they had turned a greyish tinge of brown and orange.

Bella was not a confident child but when she was in the school room her heart seemed to leap. Her hand was up in half a second, before the question had even been explained properly. In the school room Bella felt like she was travelling to many different worlds. Bella’s latest geography project was in France, and she had learnt about the Eiffel tower and a special delicacy called a croissant.
