Library

Welcome to Term 4!

Spring has sprung and the world is looking bright. The library has been revamped with new displays for the students' return. I have been busy cataloguing and reading during the lockdown, so come in for some advice or let me know what you like! There will be a meeting for the Book Club in the second week of term, so we can spring into a new book! We are also running different activities each week at lunchtime in the library. This week is finger string activities, so come down get some string and see what you can make with me!

Book Reviews!

Books I really liked reading over the lockdown period were...

Viking 1 Magic : Runestone by Anna Ciddor

I really enjoyed this book. If you liked the Harry Potter series you will like this book. The story takes you on a journey where you get to experience the differences of a magical family and a non-magical family. The two main characters strike an unlikely friendship and the journey begins from there. It was not a long book and an easy read with a fast paced story and I was left wanting to read the next book in the series.

The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill

This was a fantastic read with quirky characters that you can relate to. I loved the little dragon of the story and it had a deep meaningful message at the end. I can see why it won the Newbery Medal in 2017.
