TSC Iso Challenge Update

TSC Iso House Challenge Update 2:
We are now in week three of the TSC Iso House Challenge, the competition is close, with athletes from all houses showing outstanding determination and dedication to earning points for their house!
At the end of Week 2, the TSC community had travelled a huge 1138km combined, completing over 110 hours of physical activity.
Chirnside have asserted themselves as ‘front runners’ (pun intended) to claim first place, totalling 866 house points. This gives them a commanding 258 point lead to second placed Balak on 608 house points. After a competitive first week, Penrose have slipped ‘off the pace’, and are in third place with a score of 557 house points. Gillard House are still in with a shot of the top prize, but are labouring at the bottom of the leader board in fourth on 245 house points.
Week 3 is ‘bring a friend week’, where all current participants were encouraged to refer at least one person to join the challenge. Currently, there are 86 members involved, we are hoping to get over the 100 mark by the end of this week! If you haven't signed up already, please head to the Google Site for the details- it definitely isn’t too late to get moving.
Below you can read what a few of the participants have thought about competing in the challenge and how it has helped them over the past few weeks:
Ayesha Tariq - Year 12 (Gillard House)
The Iso House Challenge is great to keep us in shape and healthy. It stops me from being lazy. It has got me out of the house and motivated me to walk. I have never exercised on a daily basis until this challenge started!
Khushi Parikh - Year 10 (Chirnside House)
It has encouraged me to be competitive while staying active and fit during these hard circumstances where I cannot go and do my normal sports training.
Diya Patel - Year 10 (Balak House)
The Iso House Challenge is really interesting and motivates me to go outside, it has been great for my physical and mental health. It’s not only about competing against our peers but it’s about getting some fresh air. I really like how all the teachers participate with us. I also discovered so many creeks/parks around the area. You should definitely try this Strava app!!
Tom Cleeland - Teacher & Chirnside House Leader
I like the friendly competition between staff and students, especially when CHIRNSIDE is winning! I also enjoy the 'kudos' people are giving each other, regardless of how far they've travelled. It's helped to maintain the social connection between staff and students as would normally happen on campus, in the yard and in between classes.
