New CPR Logo and Posters

Congratulations to Ngoc Truong in Year 10 for winning the logo competition designing our new Connect Protect Respect logo. She will receive a $100 voucher. Our schools focus on resilient mindsets and ongoing work in this field will use this logo to help grow student wellbeing and resilience.

R U OK Day

R U OK day aims to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health by encouraging people to begin meaningful conversations with others about their wellbeing, and educate members of the school community about suicide prevention. On Friday 13 September, the Wellbeing and VCAL teams organised lunch time activities to bring awareness to this important issue. A BBQ and cupcakes were made available for students to enjoy, and a number of external support services visited the school in support of the message being shared. Headspace organised a ring toss game, The Western Bulldogs ran interactive games for the students, and the Year 12 VCAL students worked alongside the Interact Club to sell raffle tickets, share stickers promoting the importance of looking out for each other, and provide temporary tattoos.

R U OK Day encourages us to take four simple steps:

Ask ‘are you ok?’

Listen without judgement

Encourage action
