Centrelink Greensborough 'Meeting Families/Carers'

Centrelink will meet with Families/Carers of Concord School Students at their Office,

16-20 Grimshaw Street Greensborough on

Wednesday 2nd September 2015 at 11.00am. 

 

Please contact Concord School on 9467 3972 to make an appointment.

 

Centrelink staff will help with any queries/forms or any questions needing to be answered.

Important Note re 2015 Finishing Date for Year 12 Students

The final day of school for the year 12 students will be Thursday 10th December. 

 

The Graduation and Presentation Night will take place that evening. There will be no year 12 programs offered after this date.

Family & Friends 

Fathers’ Day Raffle – donations of new items are gratefully being sought for the Fathers’ Day Raffle.  Raffle Tickets have been sent home. Tickets are $1 each and raffle will be drawn on Friday 4th September.

 

Cookie Dough Fundraiser – Term 3 fundraiser will be Cookie Dough.  Brochures have been sent home.  Order forms are due back Friday 28th August.  Delivery will be the middle of September.

 

Helpers – FFA always need helpers – even if you don’t want to be on the Committee, helpers are needed for Hotdog days and other activities.  Please let us know if you are able to help.

 

Next meeting is being held on Monday 7th September at 1.30pm at the Bundoora Campus.

 

Vision Portraits - Vision Portraits are coming to Concord School on Saturday 3rd October.  Families can book a time to have their portraits taken by a professional photographer and will receive a 10”x13” photo with Frame for just $15! See the attached Flyer for more details and to book. A copy of the flyer will also be sent home with your child.

 

Woolworths 'Earn & Learn'

Woolworths are once again giving all schools the chance to add some amazing new educational equipment to their school.

 

If you collect the 'Earn & Learn' stickers you can simply send them to school with your child or we have an 'Earn & Learn' box at Woolworths Bundoora Square if you would like to drop your stickers off there.

EPiCC Evening

Engaging Parents In Careers Conversations for Year 9, 10 and 11 parents. Come and find out what it’s all about. What does life after Concord School look like?  Come along for a fun, informal evening with light refreshments and meet our panel of ex-students and hear their experiences and thoughts.

 

Parents will also share their stories about feelings before and after their son or daughter’s  transitioning process from school to the real world.

 

When: Tuesday 25th August

Where:  Transition Building  

Time:  6pm – 8pm, light refreshments on     arrival

Second Hand Uniform

If you have second hand school uniform that is no longer useful for your child, the school accepts all donations of second hand uniform. You can drop all donations to Debbie or Julie at Bundoora Campus or Kathryn at Watsonia Campus.
