School Wide Positive Behaviour Support
SWPBS is a state wide initiative for responding to both positive and challenging student behaviour. It aims to build on the positive school climate already in place at Concord School and to ensure we continue to have a safe, purposeful and inclusive school and classroom learning environments.
In our last newsletter we shared with parents, carers and the community the first part of how we have incorporated School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) into Concord School.

Favourite Movie/TV Show:
I don’t watch a lot of television.
Favourite music:
NZ Dub/Reggae/Roots.
Hidden Talent or Something We May Not Know About You:
I used to teach white-water kayaking. These days I prefer riding sick berms to dropping off scary waterfalls.
Favourite Sporting Team/Athlete:
I don’t really follow elite sport. My yoga teacher is pretty cool though.
If You Could Pick Any 3 People as Dinner Guests, Who Would They Be and Why?
Waleed Aly, Lena Dunham, and Jessie Mackay. Waleed and Lena are hilarious and intelligent making for great dinner conversation. Being a musician, Waleed might even provide some after dinner entertainment. Jessie Mackay is a distant relative and well known New Zealand suffragette and poet. I’d love to ask her about her experiences leading up to women accessing the vote.
