Hi Everyone,
Term 3 is certainly turning out to be busy with our fundraising after the lockdowns we have experienced.
We’re kindly asking this month for our school community to take a look at the sign-up platform that Haley Ballingall so kindly manages for us. We are really keen to get more of our school community involved with all of our events we have coming up. Please take a look and if you can spare an hour to come and help out - we would love to see and meet you. We especially need help with our Bunnings BBQ.

Event update
Bunnings BBQ - Saturday 26th August
At this stage, we are going ahead with our BBQ fundraiser at Bunnings Altona North. Please come on down, say hi, let your friends and family know or help serve some sausages. Big thanks to Michelle Tyson for organising this - we know it’s taken several attempts to get this off the ground this year!
School Disco - Thursday 16th September
Our school disco is now rescheduled for the day before the end of Term 3. Details of how to purchase tickets will be coming home shortly.
In the meantime, our theme for this year is all things Rainbow! There’s no need for specific clothing/ items to be purchased, the brightest colours or accessories you have at home will do the job perfectly!
The timings are confirmed as:
- Prep to Grade 3 3.15pm - 4.45pm
- Grade 4 to 6 5.00pm - 6.30pm
Trivia Night - Friday 20th August - RESCHEDULED
Due to the current COVID restrictions in place, we made the decision to postpone our adult-only Trivia Night to Friday 15th October. Tickets for this event will be $30 per person and will include a food platter. BYO drinks as usual. Tickets will go on sale shortly, but in the meantime, please reschedule the babysitters as this is one fun event not to miss!
Father’s Day/ Special Person’s Day - Friday 3rd September
Calling all Dads Grandads and Special persons - please save the date for our annual event. We’re busy working through the details of what this event will look like, which will also include a pie lunch order. Please note that we will have Father’s Day stalls happening in the days leading up to Father’s Day where gifts can be purchased. More details will be sent out via Compass.
Friday treats
These are on hold for the time being due to COVID restrictions. Once these change, we will send out a Compass notification to update you on what’s happening.
Special Lunches
Subway Lunch - RESCHEDULED for Thursday 26th August
All forms have been sent home for these orders as we have rescheduled the date of this lunch. All order forms and payment must be received by Friday 20th August at 9am. We cannot accept any late orders for this.
Friday 3rd September - Pie Day
To tie in with our Father’s Day event, we will shortly be sending pie order forms home.
Meetings
Our next meeting is on Friday 20th August at 2.15pm - please come along and join in the meeting.
