VCE Legal Studies - Virtual County Court Incursion
During the last week of term 2, the Year 11 Legal Studies class had the amazing opportunity to meet and talk to a judge over webex. We got to meet Judge Clayton who specialises in civil law at the County Court as well as her associates. During the virtual meeting, we heard about what happens in court and learned some interesting facts about the topic we were covering. For example, 50 cases of defamation were heard last year! Overall, it was a really interesting experience and it was good being able to speak and learn things from an actual judge and not just reading about them in the textbook.

Year 9 Make, Bake & Create
This year, Year 9 have electives and my subject is Make, Bake and Decorate. To start term 3 we have made Olympic themed biscuits. Students designed what they were going to make and in the next class they produced biscuits and were taught how to decorate with a piping bag and royal icing. Here are some of their creations.

From the Caulfield High School Archives
The building shown above stood in the school grounds; its location was where the PAC is standing now. Its frontage faced Neerim road. Today, it would be considered a heritage building and would not be pulled down so quickly.
During the construction of the sports ground, its excavation revealed a substantial amount of bluestone blocks. These bluestones were at one time supporting a large solid brick home built around the 1880s.
