It is has been great to see the students’ enthusiasm in Science classes since they have returned from online learning. These past weeks have involved students from Year 7 to VCE students undertaking a variety of practical tasks to consolidate the theoretical concepts that have been learnt during online learning. It was great to see the engagement of students when undertaking these activities.

This year Education Perfect, an online teaching program, has been provided to all Victorian science students. During  Australian National Science week,  Monday 16th to Friday 20th August, 2021, they are running the ANZ Science Championships which is open to all students around Australia. Entry to this event is free and we would love students to participate. If your son/daughter would like to enter the competition, they can ask their science teacher for help to enroll in the competition.

As mentioned above, Australia National Science week is coming up at Glen Eira College. This year’s theme is “Food Different by Design” so stay tuned to hear about the science activities that will be run at Glen Eira College.
