Are you looking to pursue a career in the Trades industry? 

The Where to now? Industry, Employment and Education Pathways – Trades Night is a one stop shop for all things Trades.

This event will help students position themselves for success in 2022 and beyond, and help them to start planning their career with advice and presentations tailored for VETDSS students, School Based Apprentices and Apprentices. Students and parents will hear from current industry speakers, including representatives from Reece Plumbing, Carpentry Australia, Women in Trades and more.

Topics include;

• Hotspots and growth opportunities in the Trades Industry
• Employer perspectives (presentations from employers in Auto, Carpentry and Plumbing)
• Success and support for Women In Trades
• How to work with Australian Apprenticeship Support Networks
• The Apprenticeship Support Officer program – a Victorian government funded program that aims to assist young apprentices (aged 15-25) to complete the first year of their apprenticeship.

 Access to information stands and presenters, as well as tours of Box Hill’s trade areas, will commence after the presentation.
