Interschool Sport 

Interschool Sport:

A big congratulations to all our Year 6 students who represented our school at interschool sport. You have made us proud with your team work, sportsmanship and efforts. Feel free to read our sports reports below. 

Soccer:

The soccer team did really well on both days. I was part of the A team. We won every match and came back from losing 1-0 at half time to winning the finals 4-1, with goals from Chris who scored 2, Chloe and Zack with an assist from Taz, and with a team effort made it through to division. We all worked really well together, showed sportsmanship and supported each other.

For most of the B team it was their first time playing a soccer match. They worked well together to end up getting a 6-1  victory over Doncaster Gardens B team.

They communicated and supported everyone. Even though the grounds were muddy, overall we had two really fun days!! Thanks to all the teachers who organised this for us :)

Chloe 

Volleyball:

I was a part of interschool sport for DPS I was in the volleyball team. In the beginning everything was fine, and I could see that everyone was having and enjoying themselves including me. When the first match began no one was showing off or anything like that. Then for the rest of the matches, it was just like a group of kids from different schools playing volleyball. Then on our breaks we would practice with each other, eat and talk just like friends. Everyone was enjoying themselves and having fun. We treated teams that were losing with respect by saying something nice. When the time came to go home we were all fairly tired and the bus drive back to school gave some time to rest.

Tball:

We played 4 games of T-ball. We won 1, lost 1 and drew 2. Everyone was respectful to the other team, whether they lost or won. Even though some people fell in the mud they, got back up and tried again.

Ellie

Netball:

In Netball everybody worked really hard and gave everything a go. We had to learn netball in a very short amount of time because of the weather. Overall, I think everybody did a great job with their teamwork.
