MCA Buses

This year, MCA started running buses in order to assist families with travel arrangements to and from the College. The implementation of the buses has been very successful and numerous families have used the service in Semester 1 with over 91% of families rating the service as “Very Beneficial” to their son’s school commuting needs.

 

The College currently offers two daily services in the morning and the afternoon which will continue for Semester 2.

 

MCA Route 1 – Everton Hills / Bunya / Ferny Hills / Ferny Grove / Arana Hills / Everton Park / Mitchelton / Gaythorne

  • Average arrival time at school for Semester 1 was 8:06am
  • Average morning trip duration time (from first stop) for Semester 1 was 54 minutes
  • The Route 1 bus transported students to College on-time 100% of the time for Semester 1

MCA Route 2 - Bridgeman Downs / McDowall / Stafford Heights / Stafford / Gordon Park / Lutwyche / Grange / Wilston / Newmarket

  • Average arrival time at school for Semester 1 was 8:19am
  • Average morning trip duration time (from first stop) for Semester 1 was 62 minutes
  • The Route 2 bus transported students to College on-time 93% of the time for Semester 1

Child Protection Officers

As part of our faith basis, duty of care obligations and legislative requirements, Marist College Ashgrove is committed to providing a safe environment to all students and to uphold their best interests and wellbeing.

 

With this in mind, the College has five Child Protection Officers whom staff, parents and students can report any instances of considered inappropriate behaviour by staff, parents or other students.  Should you or your son want to report any kind of inappropriate behaviour, you may do so either in person or via one of the email addresses below.
