Room 26

Term 4, Great to see the students back at school engaged in all learning areas, working towards achieving their personal learning goals for Semester 2.  Students continue to develop their skills in numeracy and literacy tasks but really enjoy the hands on learning activities like science and cooking which were delivered through SAKGP and Science. Students have enjoyed doing simple cause and effect experiments like the Mentos and Diet Coke through to making a lava lamp, learning how Carbon Dioxide gas is produced in different environments.

The students have really enjoyed their time this term catching up with friends after the challenges of remote and flexible learning in Term 3.

Secondary Sub School News

Over the past week we celebrated Halloween at JSA, which was a fun day for us all. Thank you for putting in the time and effort to prepare your children for the day. Our VET students continue to work towards their 2020 learning outcomes, as you can see here. We have some students participating in the Visual Arts program run by Rosie Lugg (Art Teacher).

And finally, I will be sharing the 2021 curriculum information with you all via seesaw next week. You will all receive a video that relates to the year level your child is in for 2021. We have put a lot of work into this program, and we hope that you can see the connections to ‘learning for life’ within the programs.
