Room 8
The students in Room 8 have been very happy to be back in the classroom with their friends. We have been re-learning our routines and work activities and practicing our social skills. We have especially enjoyed the specialist programs, blowing bubbles in STEAM, growing things in the garden and cooking with them, Music and PE. We are also enjoying the special days and activities such as dressing up for Halloween and Book Week and fun activities for NAIDOC Week and Remembrance Day.

Students had so much fun dressing up to celebrate Halloween!!!
In line with our school’s focus on promoting student voice, Halloween provided an opportunity for our students to express their interests, views and opinions. Dressing up allowed students to be whoever they wanted to be for a day! It stimulated their imagination, creativity and communication skills.
Students read spooky stories, played Halloween themed games and created amazing artwork. We saw our students strengthening friendships as they joined in conversations and shared in excitement of the day together. We all had fun and felt much braver, bolder and confident by the end of the day.
