Year 7 News

Remote learning was quite a challenging experience for our Year 7 students. We pride our students on the resilience and maturity shown. As mentioned throughout the remote learning period, staff are extremely grateful for the commitment and support that parents and guardians have put in.

Of course, it’s good to be back! The College is full of zest, laughter and positive vibes! Students and staff are very pleased to be back onsite. Walking into classes this week, it’s been so lovely to see students engaging in interesting discussions and challenging themselves with new and exciting topics.

This term, students are learning about Historical Inquiry, Measurement, Ecosystems, Identity & Belonging, Musculoskeletal System, Puberty & Change and much more. In addition, practical classes such as Food Technology, Music and Physical Education have already been a great success whilst onsite.

Cohort Games

To help students with the transition back to onsite learning, the cohort have participated in fun and engaging games. Students have worked together with their classmates to achieve points in such tasks as: Minute to Win It, Classroom Decorations, Tower of Terror and Scattergories; helping to rebuild relationships, experience a sense of competition and of course, have fun!

Another WOW moment!

During Term 3, our Year 7 students used the program Bandlab to create music. Click on the following link to see and hear a snippet of what our students achieved! A special thank you to Mr. Apted and Mr. Ebert for putting this together.
