New taps

As a part of our COVIDsafe approach to re-opening the school, we have taken the decision to change the taps in all of our student bathrooms and the art room to be lever style taps.

Whilst all bathroom surfaces, including taps, are being regularly cleaned throughout the day as a part of our enhanced cleaning schedules, we were keen to minimise the need for students to touch the tap handles after they have washed their hand and so support our infection control measures.

The new taps are easy to turn on and off with elbows and we will be teaching the students how to do this as a part of their regular hand washing.
