A message from the Principal

We would love to hear your feedback...

After a week and a half of onsite learning after such a long period of Remote learning and having an empty school, we could not be happier with how the whole community has

managed this transition.

It has been fantastic to see how easily students have slotted back into routines, friendships and learning and the energy and positivity from all has given everyone at the school a lift.

The hard work of the Leadership team and staff to ensure we have a thorough COVIDsafe plan in place has meant we have approached this with confidence. With case numbers continuing to fall and the weather improving, we have a real optimism that we

can look forward to a term 4 that feels (almost) normal and finish this year on a high.

The ongoing restrictions do mean that certain activities (the Year 3/4 Camp, excursions, incursions, parents on-site, graduation) will not be able to proceed as planned but it is a testament to the creativity and resilience of our students and staff that alternatives have been planned and there is a determination to make the best of the situation we find ourselves in.

I need to thank our whole community for making such a smooth transition possible.

As we start this final term of such an eventful year, we are conducting a survey to find out what parents think of our school.

The Parent Opinion Survey is an annual survey offered by the Department of Education and Training that is conducted amongst all parents. It is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of parents’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, student engagement and experiences of remote and flexible learning.

Our school will use the survey results to help inform and direct future school planning and improvement strategies. All parents will be invited to participate in this year’s survey. All responses to the survey are anonymous.

This year, the Parent Opinion Survey will be conducted from Monday 12th October to Friday 13th November.

The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time within the fieldwork period on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones.

Each family will receive an email in the coming days containing a link and a pin code to access the code. We would appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your feedback.
