Physical Education

Our F/1s have been identifying their personal strengths as well as practising personal and social skills allowing them to work successfully in small groups. Students have worked on their locomotor skills like jumping, leaping, rolling, and crawling by completing obstacle courses. They have worked with partners to improve their chest passes and their kicking skills, using a variety of equipment.

Persistence has been key for our 2/3 students as they have been developing their soccer skills. They are now applying these skills into the game of soccer. I really admire the way they have all worked as a team and shown such determination.

Our 4/5/6 students have been working on their AFL skills. They’ve been handballing, bouncing, kicking to a partner and trying to score goals and behinds! Students formed teams and had the opportunity to take part in modified AFL games. Hoth, Oliver and Louis refereed our games and should be congratulated for their competence and fairness.
