Middle School

The Year 3 and 4 students were very excited to to begin their kitchen and garden classes as part of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program this week.  Students were introduced to the garden program by Miss Davis and made a great start by sweeping up leaves, weeding and composting as well as visiting the chickens in Chookingham Palace.

During their introduction to the kitchen program, students had the opportunity to sample some of the produce from the garden and had great fun guessing the ingredients in the delicious apple and raspberry muffins. 

They can't wait until their next session when they will have the opportunity to cook and sample some wonderful recipes from the program.
