Welcome back!

A very warm welcome back to school, junior students! We have had a busy two weeks back at school to start off – can you believe that we only have seven weeks left before the next school holiday? – across Literacy, Numeracy and Inquiry learning. 

Inquiry

This term in Inquiry, students will be looking at healthy living (eating and exercise) alongside the human body.

Numeracy

Students started off this term with addition and subtraction. Here are some ‘Addition Flower Automatic Recall Facts’ and ‘Subtraction Flower Automatic Recall Facts’. These facts build numbers to 10 and 20, which help create a steady foundation as students’ progress to larger and more elaborate addition and subtraction arithmetic, with and without regrouping numbers, later on.
