Fantastic French

Bonjour!

This term students will be looking at French words relating to weather, days of the week, months and seasons. This is to coincide with the Integrated Studies topic of Change.

F-2 practised the days of the week in class.

Can you guess what these 3 days are in French:  lundi, vendredi, dimanche?

Grade 3-6 navigated through the school-funded app Languagenut. They worked on  the topic of Weather, honing listening, reading, speaking and writing skills in preparation for a quiz in class. Students enjoy the activities on this app as they come in the form of great games, with points and medals earned in the pursuit of proficiency in selected and themed French vocabulary.

It is really important that all students in Grade 3-6 come to French with their head-phones, this will facilitate listening and completion of language learning tasks. Merci  beaucoup!
