VCAL Update

I hope our VCAL students have returned from the Easter Holidays refreshed and ready to get stuck into a busy Term 2.
Please watch this space for updated dates, activities and notices throughout the term.
On Monday Year 11 students went to the Mt Eliza Quarry as part of their literacy work exploring Kokoda and the ANZACS. Students walked the quarry (in replacement of the 1000 steps which is currently closed). Students had the opportunity to interview a person who has previously completed the Kokoda trail as we as discussed the physical challenges that the soldiers may have experienced.
Year 11 students are also reminded to return their medical and permission forms for Camp by the end of this week. Year 11 VCAL camp will run Monday 9th - Tuesday 10th May. All students not attending camp are required at school to complete an alternative task to ensure they meet the outcomes missed on camp.
