BSC Writing Competition

The Beaumaris Secondary College Writing Competition is officially open for 2022. This year’s theme is ‘Another World’ and students are welcome to submit any original short story that meets this theme. Please see the poster below for details and direct any questions to either Ms Shattock, Ms Avgerinos or Mr de Valle. 

Submissions are due by Monday 20 June, and we encourage all students to enter. Communicate and Relate teachers will be advertising this to all students during their sessions and students are welcome to speak to their teachers if they’d like anything proof-read. 

Thank you to the wonderful parents, carers and community members who volunteered to be guest judges. Our teaching panel will conduct the first round of judging at the beginning of Term 3 and students will be notified if they are shortlisted. Our guest panelists will conduct the second round of judging and decide the final winners from there.
