College Captains' Report 

Last Tuesday was the 2022 Beaumaris Secondary College Open Night, which was a huge success! There was a great turnout, with around 500 people in attendance. The Open Night started with an introduction in the gym, given by Ms Chaves and College Captains, followed by tours around our school. Being involved in the Open Night was a great opportunity to be ambassadors for the school, represent our college, and be able to help families decide on which secondary school they would like to send their child to. Thank you to all the student, parent and teacher volunteers who ensured the night ran smoothly. Hopefully we’ll see some of the primary school students from the night joining our school in the next couple of years.

Moving on, the Year 8s went on their camp to Lord Somers and returned on the 6th of May. From what we heard, it was a great experience!

A huge well done to everyone who competed in the house cross country, we commend your efforts! And congratulations to those who have made it to the next stage.
