Preparing for school

The change from Kindy to Primary school is a big one! At Gabby’s Angels, we get the chance to build all the skills necessary for Reception in a fun and inclusive way. 

This Term we have enjoyed our many art and craft activities. We have been able to practice our fine motor skill, using writing tools, scissors, glue, paint and our wonderful imaginations! 

We have also spent lots of time getting ready for our active lives at St Gabriel's School. We have been practicing all of our fundamental movement skills– including throwing and catching, balancing and running. We have also done lots of dance and yoga. 

We are really proud of the plants that we have been growing – we got to plant the seeds, and then watch the roots, stems and leaves grow right in front of our eyes! 

We are all so excited to continue our learning journey at St Gabriel’s School.
