The leadership team would also like to thank all the teachers as well as the astonishing crowd that supported all students and staff who took place on the stage. It was a beautiful and enjoyable day, if it was not for all of them this event would not have been possible. The event provided such unforgettable memories for both the lead up and the day of the event. The House Captains team and I are so thankful for all the help we received and support from all our peers and staff. Such joy and laughter came from an event that began with my passion project – creating a House event that enabled students who have Arts based talents, to compete.

We look forward to seeing the continuation of Battle of the Houses in 2019, as it will be held every year moving forward, an event that included such laughter, delight and a united front. Special thanks to Ms Dennis, Mr Cusack, Ms. Dawson, Mr. Illangakoon, Mr. Christiansen, for contributing a great deal of their time and effort into making this event happen.

Year 12 Pyjama Day

To celebrate the conclusion of 6 years of secondary schooling, the Year 12's had a pyjama day on Monday September 3rd. This was both to celebrate but also motivate our Year 12 cohort, as it is coming close to the VCAA exams and VCAL students are nearly at the end of their curriculum year. The event consisted of after-school activities like Bubble Soccer, Dodgeball, a Food Guessing competition and a Movie Night.

All staff were invited to join, as well to spend their own time with the Year 12s. The leadership team also asked for $2 gold coin donation to go towards the Year 12 Yearbook funds. Overall, this was a successful event for the Year 12 cohort, it was a remarkable moment for all Year 12s.

A massive thank you must go to the Year 12 managers; Mr Christiansen and Ms Glenn.
