Year 4 News

Year 4 are continuing to work hard in all subjects.

In Science the children are preparing to create their own packages to send a chocolate Easter egg home through the mail. They have been investigating which materials provide the best protection and will soon use this understanding to create their own package. Teacher ask that the children return their money to school, as soon as possible, to help support the cost of postage. Thank you!

In History the children are learning about Early Explorers. The children worked together, in groups, to perform a Readers Theatre about Early Explorers. They have listened to videos about the various expeditions, note-taking and sketching their journeys. The children have also re-created Time-lines related to early discoveries of Australia and investigated some of the tools used by the explorers. 

Year 4 are looking forward to the Cross Country coming up on the 29th March. Teachers ask for all notes to be returned as soon as possible.
