Year 12 General PPS students were out and about the College conducting a Farm audit of the Horticulture and Beef sections. Students have been learning about ecosystems, sustainability, salinity, soil pollution and land degradation. 

Mr Olde and Mr Millichamp helped the students with their audit by informing them of areas with degradation concerns and areas they are trying to improve. 

Students took:

• Water pH tests from the dam, the creek and Hort water trough.
• Soil pH and moisture tests from citrus and Beef sections.

The Year 12s have an assessment report to write up in regards to this Farm audit, including pH measurements, pictures of land degradation and possible strategies to prevent/correct these issues.
