National Day of Action Against Bullying 2021

Friday 19th March

Bullying continues to be an issue discussed in schools and the wider community. At Wantirna College our core values of Respect for Self, Respect for Others and Respect for the Environment demonstrate that bullying does not belong within our community. Education around appropriate social interactions, emotional intelligence, self regulation and communication enable students to have a greater understanding of themselves as well as empathy and respect for others.

On Friday 19th March 2021 it is the National Day of Action Against Bullying. At lunchtime students are invited to the Wellbeing Centre to take a pledge against bullying. A range of pledges will be available to say verbally as well as being represented in visual and written form. We hope to display all the pledges from our students in a show of unity and respect around this issue.
