Intermediate Girls Cricket

Despite a lack of training and inhibited preparation courtesy of an untimely lockdown, our Intermediate girls cricketers competed admirably during the recent Kingston Division Round Robin. After going down to more experienced and fancied rival teams in McKinnon SC and Brighton SC, the girls were determined to end the day on a win when confronting Bentleigh SC in the final game of the day. Some sharp and aggressive batting friom Olivia De Zeeuw and Meg Lambert saw the girls post a healthy total, only to see Bentleigh chase it down for a tied result.

Even with Aimee Farrow finding herself on a hat-trick in the 'Super Over', the result was again tied and we settled on a hard fought and memorable draw.

The members of the team were Lara Barker, Talia de Fazio, Olivia de Zeeuw, Harriet Egan, Aimee Farrow, Chloe Johnson, Sophie Keogh, Meg Lambert, Sophie McCubbery, Holly Meyer, Anika Prajapati, Evie Sparkman, Marley Taylor and Amelie O'Meara who provided wonderful assistance as an umpire on the day.
