This Week in PE.......

All students across all year levels have been focusing on their athletics skills during the second half of term 1. Our Foundation to Year 2s have been exploring how we can run faster, jump higher and further and leap efficiently to improve our skill level. The Year 3 - 6s are practicing each of the athletics events in preparation for the House Athletics Carnival, including sprinting, hurdles, high jump, long jump, triple jump, shot put and discus.

Have a discussion with your child about which events/skills they are enjoying practicing the most and how they believe they can improve. Many of these skills translate to other sports, making them extremely beneficial for their own development.
