Real Talk Parenting Website

Our Extended Pastoral program draws lessons and resources from a number of different organisations. Each organisation has expertise in specific areas.

One such organisation we use for Extended Pastoral and our Reflection Days is Real Talk Education, who exist to help resource schools with Christian values-based materials that empower young people to live life to the full.

Real Talk is a global leader providing values-based presentations on the human person and human sexuality.

Real Talk has grown rapidly in part due to the massive need for the education they provide. Modern culture presents young people with many exciting opportunities, but there are also many new challenges, including the hyper-sexualisation of young people, the impact of the digital world, and the pressures on home life. A lack of formation in these areas can result in poor decision making, heartache, and mental illness.

Real Talk Education provide us with online lessons around the topics of:

  • Identity
  • Body Image
  • Character Strengths
  • Media and Technology
  • Healthy Relationships

All topics are presented through a Christian Values lens which includes respect and dignity of human life.
