Celebrating our sporting heroes
There's some incredible sporting news in the media at the moment.
Our ParaMatildas competed in the inaugural IFCPF Women's World Cup Final against the USA; and Australia won 15 Gold Medals at the Special Olympics World Games in Germany recently. These incredibly talented men and women are wonderful role models for our young people. Does your child have a sporting hero? We love hearing about them in therapy sessions and will always incorporate your child's special sporting and other interests where we can.
Enjoy this edition of our eNews, and have a wonderful week ahead.
Dr Nicole Grant
Qld Regional Manager

Important information about the Ekka Show Holiday
It's Ekka time!
Please check your local clinic's operating hours during Ekka week. Our therapists observe the show holiday relevant to their home clinic. If you live in an LGA that is different to your therapist's home clinic, your availability may be different to theirs next week. Please double check with your clinic's administration team when your appointment will be occurring if you or your therapist has a public holiday scheduled. You can reach your clinic's administration team here.
The 2023 show holidays are scheduled for parts of South-East Queensland as follows:
Date | Day | LGA | ESA clinic |
14 August 2023 | Monday | Moreton Bay, Logan City, Redlands, Lockyer Valley, Scenic Rim, South Burnett, Gladstone & others* | Strathpine |
16 August 2023 | Wednesday | Brisbane City | Upper Mt Gravatt, Carina, Toowong, Murarrie |
1 September 2023 | Friday | Gold Coast (for Gold Coast Show) | Ashmore, Coomera |
* The designated 2023 show holiday for the City of Ipswich (Springfield clinic) occurred on 19 May 2023 and for the Sunshine Coast (Buderim clinic) on 16 June 2023.
