SCHOOL PHOTO DAY IS COMING!

 

Your school photo day is coming! Approximately two weeks prior to the photo day every student will receive a personalised flyer to bring home from Kapture Photography containing your child’s unique codes for ordering school photos online. 

 

KEEP YOUR FLYER SECURE! 

The unique codes contained on the flyer will be issued only once.

 

 

Order EARLY for discount photo day prices

 

Order your photos within 10 calendar days of photo day to receive discount photo day prices. Late orders are handled separately from the school delivery and incur a $30 custom service charge. 

 

Other information

 

Kapture offers a money-back guarantee for any parent who is not fully satisfied with their photo package. Should you have any queries before or after photo day, please check the FAQ’s on the Kapture website. 

 

 

All students will be photographed individually on photo day for school administration records AS WELL as included in their class group presentation available for purchase to all families. Should there be any reason why your child should NOT be included in the photo shoot –please contact the school office.

Pirate Day

Be prepared to get dressed up! It's Pirate Day on Friday, 25th August (Week 6). Dress yourself in your best pirate outfit and accessories to raise awareness for childhood brain cancer. Please bring a gold coin donation so we can work together to raise money for this important cause. We are looking forward to seeing all of you in your best pirate outfits.

Health and Safety 

When using the gates on Pinetree Gully Road to enter or exit the school during school hours, please remember to slide the bolt across to secure the gate once you have closed it. Please do not use the anchoring pins at the bottom to secure the gates in their closed position.

Education Minister Running Challenge

The challenge will:

  • raise awareness about the importance of physical activity and its positive impact on health
  • provide students with a fun and exciting goal to work towards
  • encourage students to enjoy running and engage in regular exercise
  • boost self-confidence, foster a sense of accomplishment, and promote school unity
  • motivate students to participate and challenge themselves physically
  • reward their efforts with incentives and prizes
  • increase parental involvement in their child's physical activities
  • promote the utilisation of local running paths and outdoor spaces
  • contribute to improved fitness levels and overall wellbeing.

By participating in the Education Minister's Running Challenge, students will not only experience the joy of running and fitness, but also reap the numerous benefits associated with an active lifestyle. Lace up your running shoes, set your goals, and let's hit the track together!

Absences from School

A written explanation is required under the School Education Act for each and every absence from school.  Notes are kept on file by classroom teachers for perusal by District Attendance Officers.  Electronic notes are saved on the Department of Education school server.
