Junior School Family Barn Dance
Polish up your scootin' boots for the Junior School P&F Barn Dance on Saturday 19 August from 4.30pm to 8.00pm in the Derek Pigot Auditorium. This event is for all of our Junior School families from Pre-Kinder to Year 6 and your friends and family are also welcome to attend. The dancing will be led by the Outback Bush Band, made up of music teachers who love to perform and have been staging bush dances for a decade. The whole family is encouraged to join in for a fun evening of dinner, dancing, games and a ‘monster’ raffle, to be drawn on the night.
Best Dressed Prizes
Don’t forget to get your best cowgirl and cowboy on ... prizes will be awarded for best dressed!
Monster Raffle
Our raffle will include: The Ultimate Chocolate Hamper; Fine Wine & Gourmet Cheese Hamper; The Ultimate Movie Night and Games Hamper; Moet Magic Champagne Hamper; Deluxe Garden Lovers' Hamper; Barbecue Essentials Hamper; Luxury Beauty and Relaxation Hamper; and Sports Lovers' Gift Hamper. Tickets will be drawn on the night.
Program for the evening
4.30pm - Howdy! Buy a raffle ticket or enjoy an old-fashioned game. Have your photo taken.
5.00pm - First dance set! Swing your partner 'round and 'round!
5.45pm - Dinner break. Choose from sausage or steak sandwiches or veggie burgers. Mingle and play more games.
6.30pm - Second dance set! Fold your arms and do si do!
7.15pm - Raffle draw. 'Best Dressed' prizes awarded. Middleton's ice-blocks for all!
8.00pm - So long, folks!
Funds raised will support the $25k update to the Glasshouse multimedia technology platform and refurbishing Area 51, our Technology Centre.
