From the Principal's Desk

It is with great pleasure that I write the first official iNewsletter for Moriac Primary School. The newsletter will be the main source of information to keep you in the loop on things that occur in our school and will provide the opportunity to act as a window into our classrooms. We hope to share the wonderful work that your children are completing and achieving in class as well as extra curricular experiences and other events that we celebrate together as a school.

It has been a great term so far for both students and staff with many new faces across the school on both levels. We welcomed a few new students to our school along with new teachers and they have all settled in so well on their journey at Moriac Primary School.

The students have had some amazing experiences this term, from 100 Days of Schooling for our Preps, Sport excursions for our senior students, Year 3/4s and sustainability leaders planting trees down at Lake Modewarre, Healthy Heroes visits and Cyber Safety sessions for our students from Prep-6!

In addition a real highlight this week has been the Moriac House Spelling Bee Spectacular which the students enjoyed, pushing themselves out of their comfort zones and having a go at spelling some really challenging words!

Thank you to Mr Smith...AKA- Buzzy Spelling Bee for coordinating the even this year and doing so in such an 'in character' way!!

I hope you enjoy our first edition of the iNewsletter which we will build on each time we publish!

Thanks,

Mel
