I have been studying at Macleod College Intensive English Language Centre (IELC) for two weeks. I would like to tell you about my experience…

My name is Serenna. I come from China and I’m 14 years old. One thing I have found easy is finding friends. In class I have a lot of friends from different countries. Everyone is friendly in the IELC. One thing I have found difficult is badminton. I have played badminton in China. But the people in our class are so amazing! I look weak compared to them. I think I should strengthen my fitness. Everyday in the IELC is interesting. 

My name is Lucas. I come from China. I am sixteen years old. One thing I have found easy is sport. Playing sport for me is very fun. One thing I have found difficult is understanding people when they are talking to me. 

My name is Azzaya. I come from Mongolia. I am 15 years old. One thing I have found easy is making friends. One thing I have found difficult is speaking English to others. 

My name is Trang. I came form Vietnam. I am 15 years old. One thing I have found easy is talking with my new friends and teachers. They’re  very friendly and kind. It is completely different in Vietnam. The subjects here are fun and interesting. One thing I have found difficult is learning grammar. Learning English is hard.

My name is Milin. I come from Thailand. I am 16 years old. One thing I have found easy is playing badminton. One thing I have found difficult is learning spelling. I must practice my spelling before class.

One thing I have found difficult is understanding instructions in English. Most of our lessons are General English with Ms Karalis. We also do literacy and numeracy classes with Ms Wan. STEM with Ms Mitchell is interesting.
