Model United Nations in Japanese

Four VCE Japanese students headed down to Melbourne to take part in a model UN forum conducted entirely in Japanese.

The BHS Team represented South Africa at the forum and worked alongside other nations to draft amendments to a policy statement on sustainable cities.  

It was great to see them using Japanese to negotiate with other countries and especially rewarding when other countries adopted their resolutions (except the US and South Korea who were being unreasonably obstinate).

I was incredibly proud to watch as our students took to the stage and represented Ballarat High School so well.   Great job!
