SSV Greater Western Region Senior Boys/Mixed Hockey

On Thursday 20th July Ballarat High School took our Senior Boys/Mixed Hockey team on the long drive to Pedrina Park, Hamilton to contest the SSV Greater Western Region Senior Boys Hockey competition.

The side had two opponents in Edenhope College and Warrnambool College. 

The first match against Edenhope College resulted in a 1-4 defeat but the team bounced back against Warrnambool College with a 3-1 win. 

After all the matches the team had come in the runners up position and missed out qualifying for the SSV State Championships. 

Coach Heather Kearle indicated it was a fantastic achievement and experience for a team including some young players who were only in the junior age group.
