The Grade 3-6 House Athletics Carnival will be held on Wednesday the 2nd of August (weather permitting) at the Bill Sewart Athletics Track in Burwood East.

On the day, students will compete at a competition-quality venue in a range of track and field athletic events while representing their house team. 

Track events: 80 metre hurdles (opt in), 100 metre sprint, 200 metre sprint and 800 metre run. 

Field events: long jump, high jump and shot put. (Please note triple jump and discus will be completed at school)

Please pack:- Asthma puffer (if required) Substantial snacks and lunch- named drink bottle

Please - dress warmly as this sports ground is always windy and is very open to wind and the elements. If your child is affected by hay fever, we encourage preventative medication as a precaution.

Please note results will be gathered, and students who perform exceptionally well may earn an invitation to represent Kalinda Primary School at the District House Athletics Carnival.
