Dear Families,

What a day Friday was as we all came together as a school community to officially celebrate the school’s 150th year. The day was full of excitement and activities, and it was so good to see students embrace the occasion through the variety of dress up options. It was very exciting to see so many ex-Willy Kids, in particular those who came from Willy High. There were so many highlights throughout the day, but for me the biggest was the afternoon assembly. With our amazing choir and bands on display and the attendance from our families were simply extraordinary. I couldn’t think of a moment that I have been prouder to be part of this amazing school community. So many people have given up their time to make these celebrations so special and to have the opportunity to look over our highly supportive and engaged community was simply amazing. Below is a photo I managed to capture of that moment, so thank you.

2023 Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey:

On Monday the school sent out correspondence regarding the Departments 2024 Parent/Carers School Opinion Survey. We encourage all families to complete this survey which will be open for four weeks.

2023 School Review Feedback Forum and Feedback Survey

As mentioned in last week’s newsletter, below is a link for parents/carers to sign up for the school’s feedback forum held on Wednesday 23rd August. This forum is part of the school’s review process.

During the same week families will also receive a school review feedback survey link. This survey is different to the annual Department’s Parent/Carers survey and instead is targeted for the purpose of the school review while also providing written feedback, something that the Department survey doesn’t allow.

Warm regards,
