ACCI Radio Active Albany

25 August 2023 at 7.30pm

The ACCI Radio Active Albany concert is a special, one-off live music extravaganza featuring the rising stars of Albany SHS and Great Southern Grammar alongside WAAPA's Contemporary Music students.

Supported by the Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry, City of Albany and ECU, this event is a highlight of the Great Southern's cultural calendar and gives the community the opportunity to enjoy electrifying performances from local rising stars.

ACCI Radio Active Albany is the culmination of a series of workshops run over a week by the WAAPA Contemporary Music staff combining secondary and tertiary students, who proceed to rock the roof off of one of WA's finest theatres.

The performance covers a wide musical base from pop to rock, R'n'B to soul and funk classics in a spectacularly produced concert with a huge cast of talented young musicians and singers.
