Wellbeing Term 2 Update

Time rushes so quick as we are already through halfway of Term 3. Here are some things that has happened during the first half of the Term.

 

As apart of the Lunchtime Program ‘’Sport Mondays’’, The Wellbeing team has hosted a 3 v 3 Basketball Tournament for Year 10s – Year 12s. It has been very successful with only one session left to decide the Winner. 

 

Congratulations to these following students for making it to the finals! Ali Aleadani, Mo Ah, Rihan and Joey D who are versing Uzaifa Rafique, Jayziah Smallman, Ayub Gatkuoth, Jackson Nguyen and Peter Antoniadis. The finals will be sometime soon and will announce the winners on compass! Great Job to all teams involved.

 

We have Lunchtimes Programs every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday! We have plans of setting up a Rugby Tournament and a Video Game Tournament with Prizes for the Winners so stay tuned!

Lunchtime Programs 

Our Lunchtime Programs have been a big success. Our Three Programs Lunchtime Connect, Trivia Tuesday and Our Polynesian Program, Fale Pasifika have seen good numbers. But we can always do better. 

 

 

 

Our Term 3 Lunchtime Programs are continuing with our programs Lunchtime Connect and Fale Pasifika. And Introducing a New Program. Sport Mondays.

 

 

Sport Mondays will be every Monday Lunchtime, we will be setting up games for Volleyball, Basketball and Badminton, with plans of 3v3 Tournaments and many more.

Lunchtime Connect is all about Team Building Games.

 

Fale Pasifika is a safe space for Polynesian students to come together.

 

Like Before, All students are welcome to all of our Lunchtime Programs.

 

Jessie and Diane from SECL have so enjoyed running the drama sessions  lunchtime on Wednesdays so please come along for some theatrical fun and food!
