Bonjour les parents. Please enjoy Amelie and Juliette’s assembly announcement from last week where they congratulated our 7 finalists for the Alliance Française Poetry Competition

Bonjour tout le monde.

My name is Amelie and I am your French captain for this year. And this is Juliette who is one of our Grade 5 French students.

Today we’d like to share with you some news from the Alliance Française poetry competition. 

We had 12 Grade 5s enter the competition this year and 5 Grade 6s.

There were over 8000 entrants across the state.

We are pleased to announce that we have 7 finalists from CHPS this year.

This means that each of these people received a perfect score of 20/20 for their poetry recital !!

These 7 finalists will be competing in the finals in late August and we will keep you up to date on how they go.
