Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden

This week was a theory and garden class. Students learnt about acidic and alkaline substances. Using bicarb soda, milk, vinegar and lemon juice each group predicted if they were acidic, neutral or alkaline. 1/2 a teaspoon of each substance was added to the red cabbage juice indicator. It was fun watching the indicators change colour! We then headed to the farm to visit the animals and for Cody and Lily to complete their Wheelbarrow Licence.
