Coding Club

For the past four weeks, the Primary Code Club has been diving deep into the wold of game and animation coding. Stage 2 and 3 students have been undergoing free training via Code Club Australia in programs such as: Scratch, Python, Raspberry PI, Sense HAT, HTML & CSS, and Sonic Pi. These activities are student paced and scaffolded by the teacher, and are a wonderful opportunity for students to be introduced to key programming concepts. Code Club Australia offers step by step instructions and incorporate a challenged-based learning style. Students who are interested are welcome to come chat with me about joining the club.

Code Club will continue to run for the remainder of Term 1 and will be reviewed accordingly for Term 2.

This book is junior fiction. It’s by Pamela Butchart and it is illustrated by Gemma Corell.

Pugly is a pug and he wants to bake a cake to go in a TV show with Clem is a cat. Pugly is baking a cake in the kitchen and has a big problem his cake is going everywhere. Clem the cat offers to help. Clem said “I know we’ll put some leftover spaghetti and meat in it” then Pugly spotted from the corner of his eye an evil squirrel!

I recommend this book for people in year four and under. I rate this book five stars out of five.
