Senior School

From Mrs Menz

All the Year 11 and 12 students should have now settled into classes and be working with their teachers and classmates. There are a few reminders for both students and parents.

Attendance:

Senior School students (both VCE and VCAL) must have 90% attendance for each of their subjects. This can be seen on Compass under the Attendance Tab. Please look at the VCE % column. Notices were posted onto student’s Compass pages on Friday, asking anyone below 90% to have a conversation with their House Coordinator by Friday 29th March. Please ensure this happens, as students can fail entire Units on attendance.

SACs

If students are absent for a SAC, they must have a medical certificate to enable them to sit the SAC for a score. This needs to be submitted to the Senior School Coordinators office to enable the re-sit to be scheduled.

Policies

A reminder that we are asking parents/guardians to consent to the Senior School Policies event by Friday 22nd March. The policies are on the Compass Newsfeed. If you have any questions, please contact the relevant Senior School Coordinator.

Year 11 Study Skills & Wellbeing Levy

Please note there is a Study Skills and Wellbeing Levy for Year 11 students. This will cover the Study Skills Day on May 8th as well as a number of speakers throughout the year. If there are any financial concerns, please contact the relevant Senior School Coordinator, or the General Office.
